Publisher review:
Bit 5 Blog is web log software which enables end users to quickly create custom web logs. Bit 5 Blog is web log software which enables end users to quickly create custom web logs a.k.a. "blogs." B5B uses a mixture of HTML/XML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript to work with a back end database in order to achieve its functionality.

Templates are provided that allow the user to immediately deploy his/her blog after editing one configuration file and running the install script in his/her web browser. Additionally, these templates can be edited to achieve a highly customizable and unique blog. Bit 5 Blog includes several plugins, such as the recent comment, RSS feed, and users online plugins that can be enabled/disabled to achieve the desired results. Additional plugins can (and hopefully will) be developed to extend the functionality of your blog. Bit 5 Blog features an administrative control panel that can be accessed through any web browser using a chosen user name and password. This control panel allows users to easily post to their blog and perform administrative tasks, such as editing user comments or deleting posts. Bit 5 Blog's ease of use, customization through plugins and templates, and ultra fast deployment are what set it apart from other blog software.
